Ibanez Artcore AF 75 Reviews 5

I saw this guitar advertised in a newspaper. The Ibanez Centre in Adelaide, South Australia had just got them. I paid $700(AUD), but the RRP is $795. I was originally after a 335 style guitar. However, after comparing the AF 75 to the AM 73 I decided that the AF75 sounded and looked more suited to my tastes.

The one thing that really sticks out about this guitar is the price. It is far more affordable than almost all of the guitars in its class. I particuarly like the transparent blue finish and the block inlays on mine.

The "ArtCore" logo on the headstock looks a little on the cheap side. The pickup switch could have been put in a more traditional spot, but these are minor things really.

I dont feel that Ibanez have compromised much with the quality, it does not look nor feel like a cheap guitar. ArtCore guitars are constructed in China.

I think ibanez have done an excellent job of making semi-acoustics affordable. Their ArtStar range are no doubt excellent, but are a little on the pricey side. I believe it to be the best budget priced semi-acoustic on the market.
